Maritime Physicals

Shipyard and related maritime work is statistically more hazardous than construction and general industry, and so it is of utmost importance that maritime workers are tested to be healthy and competent. When evaluating an individual for maritime work or the Coast Guard, I & O Medical Center’s physician will review the patient’s medical history, conduct an array of diagnostic procedures, and give a complete physical examination that adheres to current regulatory standards for the maritime industry. I & O Medical Center’s specially trained physicians conduct hundreds of Maritime physicals for workers being considered for jobs on the water.
